September 25th Maxol will bring back the National Fuel Economy Run, an event which was hugely popular in the 70s and 80s.
Find out if you’ve got the most fuel efficient driver and car pairing in your respective vehicle class. There’s an overall winner on the day and runner up trophies in each class too.
The event kicks off at Maxol’s new M3 Mulhuddart Service at 9am and will run on public roads on a pre-determined course as set by the event organisers. The winners will be the car and driver pairing that complete the course using the least amount of fuel.
It costs just €30 to enter and that includes a €20 fuel voucher and a lunch voucher with all proceeds being donated to Aware, Maxol’s official charity partner.
All entrants will receive an official certificate after the event showing their actual fuel consumption over the route- an excellent tool to use on social media.
