The Ford Cortina car is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year and so we take a trip down memory lane and see what made this one of Ford's most sought after cars back in the 60's, 70's and the 80's. Our story follows some enthusiasts from the Cortina Owners Club of Ireland as we journey in the Autumn of 2012 to Co.Cork the home of Ford to celebrate the anniversary of this famous car.
With a clever mix of archive and reality, "Cortina" will be a mix of nostalgia, humor and breakdowns, as we look both forward and backwards at the amazing journey this car has taken in Ireland over the last 50 years.
