Description

The December issue of Irish Vintage Scene is now on sale, and as usual is packed with some amazing features. This month’s magazine is headed up by a bumper feature to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Ford’s iconic Cortina; to mark the occasion we examine each of the five generations, take a look back at the Cortina-themed events during the year and catch up with the West Cork Vintage Club, who restored a very famous Cortina just in time for the Cortina Club of Ireland’s celebration in September. On the other end of the classic motoring scale we also feature a fast and luxurious Bristol 411, acclaimed as one of the finest grand tourers of the seventies.

Classic tractor fans will be fascinated by the amazing restoration story of a Field Marshall tractor that was quite literally cut from the bushes, as well as a feature on a stunning Fordson Major. Truck fans are in for a treat as we track down a Berliet TR280, a rare truck that you will not come across every day; what’s more, this one was assembled in Bunclody, Co. Wexford! We don’t feature military vehicles very often either, but this month we have a BSA motorcycle that is ex-Irish Army, which is sure to be of interest of classic bike fans.

All these features run alongside the usual plethora of show reports, as well as all the usual favourites like News & Events, Classifieds, Laid to Rust, Retrospect and lot, lots more. So don’t miss out; get your December issue of Irish Vintage Scene at any good newsagent, or click on the button on this page to buy online!
