In our October issue (161) we ran a report on the I.V.E.T.A. The Limerick Classic Car Club’s annual show at Limerick Racecourse has grown into one of the major classic car events in the south of the country. Andrew Pollock was there on the 27th of May this year for the 2018 edition.

Historic Motorsport International 2018

9th Carnew Model Exhibition video

Held on Sunday 4th February the 9th Carnew Model Exhibition in Colaiste Bhride, Carnew Co. Wicklow. It’s one of the best model shows in Ireland. Incorporating the 1st All Ireland Miniature Steam Engine Rally, Model Steam, Farm Diorama’s, Cars, Trains, Boats, Planes, Circus, Trucks, Tractors, Lego, Remote Control, etc.

IEC/OVCI Blacksod Run & Kadettfest Meet

This year the Irish Escort Owners Club and Opel Vauxhall Club Ireland decided to merge their early-year Sligo-based events into one, to raise funds for the Irish Coastguard in light of the Blacksod helicopter disaster. Pat Mullan was there to document the day for us.

The 37th Erne Vintage Car Club Annual Rally

This year, on the occasion of the Erne Vintage Car Club’s 37^th Annual Rally, I decided to spend the weekend with the club instead of leaving after the run on Saturday, and it was worth it. The event took place from the 19^th to the 21^st of August, and the Friday night saw a very big display of vehicles in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, with the club’s chosen charity, the NSPP, collecting over £3,500 for a very worthy cause.

Moynalty Steam Threshing 2016
