Description

The January to March 2017 issue of Retro Classics Magazine is now on sale, and as always is packed with features and event reports from the world of classic, retro and motorsport cars in Ireland. This issue’s cover is devoted to what is probably the most historic Hillman Imp in the country – this Imp Rallye has been in competition use since new, including being rallied by the legendary Rosemary Smith back in the sixties, and is still competing today. What’s more, it’s carried around on a genuine ex-works trailer towed by a stunning rally service-style Hillman estate, making for a real eyeful wherever it appears. Elsewhere in the magazine we look at machines as diverse as a Sebring-style Austin Healey Sprite, an Innocenti Mini Cooper, a ’68 Mustang fastback, a potent Vauxhall HP Firenza track car, a beautifully-built Shelby Cobra replica and a Ford Escort XR3i that made a very nice present for its owner’s wife! Events-wise we have coverage from all over the island, including Rallyday 2016, the Cork Classic & Old-Skool Toyota Show, Gowran Festival of Speed, Spirit of Dunboyne 2016, the Legenderry Motor Show and many, many more, and we also tell you what to look out for when buying yourself a Mk1 Mazda MX-5, a hugely-enjoyable roadster that’s really come of age. Throw in News & Products, Diary Dates and Retro Club Scene and you’re left with another packed issue.

Don’t miss out; get your January to March edition of Retro Classics Magazine at any good newsagent from the 16th of December.
