BROUGH JUSTICE

The motorcycles built by George Brough from the late twenties to the fifties are without doubt some of the hottest property in the vintage and classic bike world. While the ‘big daddy’ SS100 tends to get most of the limelight, the Overhead-Valve 680 featured by Andrew Pollock this month is a very highly-respected model in its own right. The OHV V-twin engine between the rails of this beauty is well able to shove the machine along at a serious pace even today, which it regularly does; when you see the photos, you’ll realise that this Brough-Superior wasn’t restored to be pampered and hidden away, but ridden often and with gusto.
