Last month saw the culmination of a long period of planning and organisation here at Irish Vintage Scene, when the first ever National Classic Spin took place on Sunday the 8th of August, kindly sponsored by FBD Insurance and with proceeds going to Aware.ie. A fantastic 885 entries were received for this inaugural event, all of whom took in one of our fifteen photo point locations dotted around the country during their spin that day. The final tally to be presented to Aware shortly is €4772, thanks purely to the generosity of those that either took part or donated in other ways around the event, so our thanks to everyone who took part or supported or helped in any way.
The new issue of Irish Vintage Scene will contain coverage and photos of five of the fifteen photo points from the National Classic Spin, with the same to follow in the following two issues, so if you took part on the day, be sure to check it out as a photo of you and your car could be in print.
