Description

The April 2017 issue of Irish Vintage Scene (Issue 131) is now on sale, with a real family classic on the cover this month. The Morris Minor holds fond memories for many people, not least this ’54 split-screen, as it’s been in its current ownership since the late eighties and recently acted as the transport for a family wedding. Our second feature car, a Ford Escort Mk2, is a rarer breed than it looks, a German-built example that’s still in unrestored, low-mileage condition following its storage in Germany for many decades.

Our main feature tractor this month concerns a Massey Ferguson collection that includes a 148 with a unique story, leading it to be featured in our magazine for the second time, while our second tractor feature checks out the amazing collection of early Zetors owned by a former dealer in the marque. Our feature motorcycle is a pre-war Ariel 350NG that’s been bringing its Ariel-mad owner plenty of vintage biking pleasure, while our commercial feature is something very out of the ordinary this month – an ex-RTE Aktiv Fisher Snow Trac! Our show reports include the Ballinakill VCOC Portlaoise Indoor Classic Show, the IVVMCC Leopardstown Motorbike Show and the rescheduled Mountbellew Vintage Show, and all of the usual favourites are in there too, so don’t miss out – get your April 2017 issue of Irish Vintage Scene today at any good newsagent, or order here online!
