RAY OF LIGHT

These motorcycle features just keep getting better month after month, and this time we have a rare Sunbeam S8 that becomes all the more rare when you learn that it is an original Irish machine. It also emerges that the bike was very well-known in its area, as it was a landmark in Dublin for many years when it was regularly parked outside Wolfe Cycles on Sundrive Road. When current owner Brendan Dunne got his hands on it he thought the bike was complete, but on further inspection he realised that he would have to replace many components. The bike subsequently underwent a full restoration with a Sunbeam specialist, and is now in stunning condition; who better to tell you all about it than Andrew Pollock.
