Kilkenny Vintage & Classic Sale

The second vintage and classic sale of the year will take place in Kilkenny on Saturday the 29^th of October; this event is held in the great facility of the Kilkenny car boot sale indoor venue, just a few miles from Kilkenny on the Callan Road, a simply brilliant venue for an indoor event (and as I have said before, serves a great breakfast also!). The event has increased in size, and the autojumble section is getting better with each passing year.

Open Day at Kevin O'Leary Opel Dealers, Bandon.

An Open Day will be held at the Opel showrooms of Kevin O’Leary Motor Group in Bandon, Co. Cork on Saturday the 10th of September from Noon to 4.30 pm. The event is being held in association with the Opel Owners’ Club of Ireland, and is an indication of the close and friendly relationship between the dealer and the club; only a few weeks ago the club held their annual run, which the Kevin O’Leary Group co-sponsored, and which had a total of 84 cars participating, from a 1964 Holden to a 2011 Insignia.

Rosdillig Steam & Vintage Threshing

The Rosdillig Steam & Vintage Threshing will take place on the 18^th of September next at Rosdillig, Borris in Co. Carlow. This year the club are hosting a Fordson and High Nellie display, and there’s a trophy up for grabs for the best original tractor. Also on the day there will be a competition for the best-restoredFerguson and Massey-Ferguson, and for the winning tractor there will be the Martin Farrell Memorial Shield; this is going to be an annual event for both tractor classes.
