Back in 1933, when ERF was founded by Edwin Richard Foden, many people didn’t share his view that diesel-powered trucks were the way forward. How wrong they were, and it just shows if you have a belief that something will work, then you must forge ahead regardless. Indeed, just look at this magazine; publishing specialists said that having all types of vehicles mixed together in one mag would never work, but how wrong they were too! Anyway, back to the article, which looks at a 1971 LV that belongs to Drew McKee, who is the Chairman of the Ulster Vintage Commercial Vehicle Club.
