When we heard that Fred Hennessy from Co. Kildare had won the 2010 IVVMCC trophy for ‘Best Endeavour’ at the recent Leopardstown bike show, we just had to bag a feature on his stunning Sunbeam S7. However, little did we know at the time that he had a matching pair of them! Having the fruits of your restoration honoured by the IVVMCC doesn’t come easily, but once you read this article you will see the hard work and amazing detail that Fred put into this project. Andrew was at this year’s Leopardstown event for the first time, and having spotted the bike there he just had to get the feature, so here it is, hot off the press as you might say.
